VEDA INDIAN RESTAURANT

Johnstown Road, Cabinteely Village, County Dublin t: +353 12024040 | e: info@vedarestaurant.ie www.vedarestaurant.ie

Cabinteely is a quiet, suburban village on the south-eastern edge of Dublin city. Only thirty minutes from the centre, but a million miles from the bustling streets of the capital. Its quaint, tree-lined streets are dotted with eateries, but award-winning Veda Indian Restaurant is setting itself apart from the others with authentic Indian cuisine served in a contemporary style.

Owner Krishan Kant is himself a qualified chef with over twenty years of experience and is the inspiration behind many of Veda’s dishes. After testing and tasting, the ideas are then implemented by head chef Jagdish Singh and his highly trained team. The system seems to be a success, as this year Veda received a YesChef award and two other awards for best Indian and best family friendly restaurant.

“Since opening in 2013, says Krishan “we have not rested on our laurels and have upgraded the restaurant and modernised the décor so that it is always fresh and welcoming for our customers. “Most importantly we maintain a consistently high standard for the quality of dishes that we serve” Krishan adds. “Current menu favourites Methi Murgh and Awadhi Gosht are made with ingredients that are fresh and locally sourced and with our newly upgraded wine list we have something special to accompany every meal.”

“We are known for our warm welcome, excellent customer service and genuine Indian food.” Krishan says “We also work very hard to provide a fine dining experience with various choices for vegan and coeliac visitors. We are grateful to be rewarded with a loyal customer base that recommends us everywhere they go, keeping Veda current and vibrant.”
